Yesterday, Chiddy Bang updated their MySpace page with a remix of Kid Cudi’s Day N Night. While remixing and sampling is common in the hip hop world, it usually involves taking a pop song and adding a few verses. It’s always fun to hear artists redo other hip hop artists’ works. Yesterday, Pretty Much Amazing posted several tracks from this new artist, Chiddy Bang from Philly. Touting them as “The Coolest Thing Since the Cool Kids,” and given the fact that I’ll check anything that PMA is advocating, I snatched up the tracks he had posted and turns out he was right.
